A Great Timeshare Resort - Paradise Point - Hollister, MO

We Highly Recommend This II Affiliated Resort

Are you interested in a really quiet timeshare resort in the Branson, Missouri area? Would you like to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main street of Branson, Missouri but close to beautiful Table Rock Lake? Well, we exchanged into the Paradise Point Resort Branson in June 2006 and it was wonderful. The first couple of days my wife and I were alone to explore the area, and later we were joined by friends from Minnesota. Just take a look at the timeshare condo in which we we stayed. Can you picture yourself enjoying these accommodations in the Branson area?

The size of this two bedroom timeshare condo was impressive. Here is a nice shot of the living room. Very spacious .

It had a balcony from our 4th floor living room over looking Table Rock Lake. Oh, what a view and so nice and quiet. School was not out yet so the resort was exceptionally quiet but the weather was perfect.

The bedrooms were large and gave you a feeling of luxury with a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom.

The pool was open and was just below our timeshare unit between our building and Table Rock Lake.

Just past the pool area is a very large docking area for timeshare owners who bring their boats during their stay at the resort. The timeshare owners who purchased at this resort have a great boating and docking area. The docking area for timeshare owners at this resort on Table Rock Lake.
Branson and all its entertainment is only 5 miles from Hollister, MO and a easy drive. This resort is away from the hustle and bustle of the activity of the main area of Branson. The drive to the main street of Branson is easy and takes about 10 minutes. Want quiet after a long day of entertainment? This is the place to exchange into. A great timeshare resort for families and adults.

Update May 26 , 2011 - Quadna Mountain Timeshare Status - Personal Opinion

My wife asked that I find something positive to write about Quadna Mountain. I will try and add a few words at the end of the post.

My wife and I are currently at a Breezy Point RCI timeshare resort here in Minnesota. It has been a fantastic week staying in a Pelican Greens unit we just purchased on the re-sale market within the last two weeks. We will tell you about this purchase and how we did the purchase on a hand shake agreement in our next article.

While here, we decided yesterday to drive to an Interval International affiliated resort, Quadna Mountain Resort at Hill City, Minnesota, which was about one hour away from Breezy Point. We were curious about the status of the Interval International affiliated resort and wanted to advise our viewers as to what we saw.

Folks, don't exchange into this formerly well- known ski, golf and camping resort unless you want to be depressed and socially isolated, or unless you have relatives living close by in the area and you can go visit them and have some fun away from the resort. We are including some pictures so you can actually see what we saw, and you can take it from our observations whether or not you would want to exchange into Quadna Mountain.

A little history and background. This resort, some 20 years ago or so ago, was a swinging ski resort in the winter, and a golf and camping resort in the summer. The resort before timeshare was primarily a resort with rich man condos and a conference center for businesses and other events. It is located about 159 miles north of Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minnesota on Hwy 169.

Along came a timeshare developer who convinced the owners, with the excess land they had, that timeshare would bring in thousands of new customers on a year round basis. So, timeshare and camping memberships were sold like hot dogs from a street vendor. The resort expanded and thousands of new timeshare units were sold. A single story motel at the resort was converted from single motel rooms to one story, one bedroom timeshare and efficiency units. We could not believe at this time of year that not one timeshare unit in this timeshare converted unit was being used. We were at Breezy Point, only one hour away and the resort was full on this date May 26, 2011.

The campground next to the converted motel units. Some RV's parked in the campground. May 26, 2011. The campground was not filled. at this time of the year. Not normal.

The above pictures were just barley into the entrance of Quadna Mountain Resort. From here we drove up towards the other 2 and 3 bedroom timeshare units that were built later. The photos of these units show that they have been kept in very good shape.

One of the 3 sets of kept up two story duplex timeshare units. May 26, 2011.

So, whatever timeshare association that is in place, have kept these up-to-date, probably for the ability to exchange within the Interval International system. These 3 buildings were the only buildings that were well maintained as far as timeshare units were concerned, on the whole resort.

This is a view from the main lodge on May 26, 2011 of the so called boat parking area. No docks. Just a small area to pull off the lake to park your boat. Notice how busy the area is. Unreal!

May 26, 2011 - The restaurant was not open. Not a person in sight. The windows face the lake area in a previous picture above.

Quadna Mountain Resorts web page showing the lodging area is not current. The resort has been sold and resold over the years and it is not exactly what the pictures show on their web page

May 26, 2011 - Quadna Mountain's main lodge office and check-in area. There were only two people in the lobby. A front desk clerk who knew nothing about timeshare check-in and how it worked. The other person seemed to know a little about timeshare.

May 26, 2011 - A picture of the lower lodge area facing the lake. Compare that to others on this web site. Cement walkway all broken up and not usable. Wow!

(This paragraph is written by my wife from her perspective, however she would not stay at Quadna Resort in the Interval International Exchange System) If someone is looking simply for a place in the peaceful north woods area of Minnesota where you have a beautiful though small lake to sit near and possibly throw in a line to catch those sunfish swimming about, or go for a walk on the tarred pathways, you can enjoy this resort. The golf course is well kept up with nicely rolling hills. Early morning might find deer wandering across the golf course. It's quiet enough so you can sit and listen to and watch for the birds flying overhead. Just relax and enjoy northern Minnesota at this resort.

My Opinion: Don't exchange into Quadna. If you have relatives in the area and want to use the larger 2-3 bedroom timeshare units

If you want to stay at Quadna Resorts timeshare units, only stay in the units pictured here. Do not trade into the one bedroom motel converted timeshare units.

that have been kept in decent shape and you do not want to stay at your relatives, that would be the only way I would use this resort.

Two story Quadna Timeshare Units. Only recommended place to exchange into if you want to use the resort as a place to stay.

If I were a golfer, the resort has a pretty good, 9 hole golf course. Otherwise you will have a pretty quiet vacation. However, again, that may be just what you're looking for (according to my wife).
